Walter Barry is President and
CEO. He founded the company in early
2000. He has 13 years of health care industry experience
covering medical device supply chain management,
physician practice management, HMO and investment
banking areas. Before founding viaMD, Walter was
Vice President, Business Development at First Physician
Care (“FPC”). He was an early member
and key contributor to FPC's growth from start-up
to $100 million run-rate revenues resulting in the
1998 sale to PhyCor. Before joining FPC, he was
Director, Communications at CareNetwork, Inc., a
former Dillon Read client sold to Humana in 1994.
Prior thereto, he was a financial analyst at Dillon
Read (now UBS Warburg Dillon Read), an investment
bank in New York. He received his undergraduate
degree from Princeton University in 1989 and is
from Minneapolis, Minnesota. |
